This dynamic wine is a blend of the classic Umbrian grape of Sagrantino with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The nose is loaded with aromas of blackberry and black plum but with equal proportions of turned earth, dried wildflowers and savory spices. The palate is rich but elegant, with fine and firm tannins that keep the density of fruit in check. The wine finishes with a savory and dried herbal note that is lingering and complex.
